Anees resigns as State Minister at Economic Ministry

Mohamed Anees has resigned from his post as State Minister at Ministry of Economic Development.

The news has been confirmed by Anees, who said he handed in his resignation on September 10.

When asked about the reason for his decision, he was he wanted to “stay out of politics”.

Anees had previously served as State Minister at Ministry of Transport. He was transferred to Ministry of Economic Development after the Ministry of Transport was dissolved.
