Dubai company contracted to develop resort in Madivaru

Alifu Alifu atoll Madivaru resort development project has been awarded to Dubai's Emaar Hospitality Group.

The government gave Madivaru to the owner of Finolhu Investment, Adam Abdul Gafoor and Finolhu Investment awarded the resort development to the Dubai company.

Emaar Hospitality Group already operates 11 hotels in Dubai.

In an interview to a Dubai media outlet, Emaar Hospitality Group said that they aim to open Madivaru Resort and Spa in 2020.

At completion, the resort is set to have a total of 80 villas with beach villas and water villas with modern luxury services according to Emaar Hospitality Group.

Emaar Hospitality Group have 29 hotel projects worldwide which includes projects in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Turkey.
