MP Mahloof arrested

Maldives Police Service has arrested the MP for the south Galolhu, Ahmed Mahloof among the people who gathered near the Criminal Court for the hearing in the trial of the Leader of Jumhooree Party, Qasim Ibrahim, charged with bribery.

Mahloof was arrested with a goup of others in the area. Police did not say as to why they were arrested.

Police are working to push back and disperse the people gathered near the court. But people are finding their way to the court through different roads.
