Three people have been injured after another vessel crashed in the outer seawall near the new port in south of Malé City.
The incident has taken place just moments after a dinghy crashed into seawall in the same area.
The launch has sustained major damage following it's crash with strong waves. The three people injured in the incident were taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital.
A witness to the incident told Sun Media that the launch was at a high speed when it coming attempting to come into the lagoon and a strong wave pushed the vessel into the west point of the seawall. And a second wave capsized the vessel rolling it twice.
Following the incident, the people in the area rescued the people on the vessel. One of the three crewman on board the vessel sustained major head trauma.
