Ali Hussain allowed to appear with lawyer

MP for Kendhoo constituency and lawyer, Ali Hussain has been given the opportunity to appear at the police station with a lawyer.

The opportunity was given in the investigation of the MPs breaching the police line to force their way into the parliament on 24 July 2017.

When appeared at the police station today, the MP Hussain said that he was asked to appear with a lawyer tomorrow. He said that he was read some rights in relation to a legal warning as well.

Aside from MP Ali Hussain, a number of parliamentarians were arrested and summoned to the police in relation to the incident.

The MPs are being charged with obstruction of police duties, instigating violence and trespassing.

Four other MPs are to appear at the police today and tonight as well.
