National Meteorological Center has said that torrential rain and strong winds area expected across the country for today and tomorrow.
The MET Office said today that heavy rain in expected with strong winds and thunder from 10 a.m. today to 10 a.m. tomorrow for a part portion of the country.
While the capital city has been experiencing rain in the past two days, the MET Office forecast show winds between 5-15 mph for the Laamu atoll and the southern atolls and 8-18 mph for the rest of the country. Winds are expected up to 45 mph during showers.
Seas are expected to be generally rough for the next five days.
