Police fail to find evidence from Kunooz

Police failed to find any evidence during its raid on M. Kunooz – which houses Jumhoory Party headquarters.

Police raided Kunooz last Tuesday night for investigation into obstructing rule of the legitimate government, conspiring to overthrow the government, and attempting to obstruct official work of the Parliament.

The search warrant issued by Criminal Court for Kunooz was signed by Judge Adam Areef, and grants the police the right to search the premises for three days from 6 pm, last Tuesday.

The police were searching for anti-government documents, banners and CCTV footage. The police wrote in search and seizure form after the raid that they found none of those items.
