Hearing scheduled in case against Faaris

Criminal Court has set a hearing in case against the MP for Dhiggaru constituency, Ahmed Faaris Maumoon in the charge of misrepresentation.

The charge was brought forth after MP Faaris illegally used the PPM flag. Criminal Court scheduled the hearing for 11:30 a.m. tomorrow.

At the previous hearing in the case on 4 July 2017, Faaris was summoned to the court and given the documents of the case.

MP Faaris has appointed Maumoon Hameed as his attorney.
