Hajj Corporation, 5 private organizations selected for Hajj quota

Ministry of Islamic Affairs has selected five private organizations in addition to Maldives Hajj Corporation which will be given Hajj quotas for this year.

The 5 private organizations are:

1. Dharuma Lil Hajj Wal Umrathi Private Limited

2. Al Haramain Hajj and Umra

3. Kiswa Private Limited

4. Sisilfar Hajj and Umra Group

5. Zaee Hajj Group

Hajj Corporation has been allotted a quota of 500 pilgrims while the private organizations have been given a quota of 100 each.

Maldives was allowed a quota of 2,000 pilgrims for the Hajj pilgrimage by Saudi Arabian government in 2016. Ministry of Islamic Affairs reports the office is working on securing the same number this year as well.

Half of the total quota will go to Hajj Corporation and the rest will be divided among private organizations.
