The Maldives Broadcasting Commission has today organized a special function to inaugurate its Strategic Action Plan and its website. The function was held at the Nasandura Palace Hotel, Malé.
Speaking in the function, Badurunnaseer, President of the Broadcasting Commission said that the members of the Commission would be very committed to carry out their task in accordance with the Strategic Action Plan, in order to achieve the objectives therein stated.
Strategic Action Plan of the Commission comprises of six major policies.
They are, establishing a mechanism through which the freedom of opinion can be realized in a responsible and accountable manner in the Maldives, providing broadcasting services to all parts of the country, making the Maldivian broadcasting industry a fully committed supporter of local talent and production and the Maldivian culture and identity, providing the services of the broadcasting industry at reasonably low prices, establishing an environment for fair competition among investors in the industry, and creating awareness among the public and broadcasting companies about the broadcasting industry.
