Car smashes into lamp post in an accident in Hulhumale’

An accident which took place in Hulhumale’ this Saturday morning has resulted in extensive damage to a car.

Police media official said the accident was reported to the authority at 9:40 am.

The accident involved a car driving down the Huvandhuma Hingun near Central Park which lost control and smashed into a lamp post.

The accident caused extensive damage to the front of the vehicle.

There are however no reports of any injuries, says the police.

The accident is under investigation by the police.
