Police: Voting ongoing peacefully

Police report there have been no disturbances related to the ongoing Local Council Election.

Chief Superintendent of Police Hamdhoon Rasheed reported to “Sun” this Saturday that police are operating in all islands, and that there haven't been any disturbances yet.

“We have taken prior measures and prepared. It's going peacefully so far,” said Hamdhoon.
