Amãna Takaful becomes insurance partner for Guesthouse Association

Amãna Takaful Insurance has been appointed as the insurance partner for the Guesthouse Association of Maldives (GAM).

At a ceremony held at the Amãna Takaful office, the partner agreement was signed by the CEO of Amãna Takaful Insurance, Hareez Sulaiman and the Senior Executive Business Development, Ahmed Shamool Abdulla while the President of GAM, Ahmed Karam and the Vice President, Ahmed Amjad represented the association.

Talking to the press before the signing, the CEO of Amãna Takaful Insurance, Sulaiman said that the guesthouse business is a growing industry in the country and so introducing insurance to the industry is very important.

He said that the guesthouse insurance policy is the first of it’s kind in the Maldives and it would bring a big ease to the members of GAM.

President of GAM, Ahmed Karam said that even with many developments, there are still challenges facing the industry and there is a great effort being put for further development. He said that Amãna Takaful was chosen as an insurance since they provide a 100 percent islamic insurance service.

There are over 400 member currently in the GAM.
