Construction of Hulhudhoo, Meedhoo sanitation systems begins

Sri Lankan company contracted the MVR 114 million sanitation system project in Hulhudhoo and Meedhoo of Addu City has begun construction work.

The construction work was launched by Minister of Environment Toriq Ibrahim in a function held in Hulhudhoo last Friday.

Ministry of Environment reports the project is contracted to Sri Lankan construction company, Sierra.

Sierra is scheduled to complete the project in May, 2018.

The project is funded via State budget.
