Bank of Maldives (BML) has installed a 24-hour self service ATM at Lhaviyani atoll Hinnavaru to support the banking needs of the community.
At a special ceremony held today, the service was inaugurated today by Minister of Health, Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim, who is from Hinnavaru and the Deputy CEO and Director of Operations at BML, Mohamed Shareef.
Speaking at the ceremony, Shareef said, “We are delighted to support the local community here in Hinnavaru with the launch of this state-of-the-art Self-Service Banking ATM. It marks another important step in our ‘Aharenge Bank’ program, a program that is benefiting individuals, businesses and communities right across the country.”
The Hinnavaru ATM is part of the Bank’s MVR 300 million investment program to expand banking services and financial inclusion across the country.
With a nationwide network of 34 branches across all 20 atolls, 85 ATMs, 4,000 Point of Sale merchants, 200 cash agents, 27 Self Service Banking Centres and 5 Dhoni Banking Units, as well as a full suite of Digital and Online Banking Services, Bank of Maldives is committed to supporting individuals, businesses and communities across Maldives.
