Fire at a house in Maafannu

A fire has started at a house in Maafannu, Malé City has been controlled by the MNDF Fire and Rescue Service.

The incident took place at Maafannu Hiyvaru located near AMDC Clinic.

No major damages were sustained by the house in the fire. The fire was at a vacant home.

Although the electricity was cut from the area due to the fire, power is being reconnected to the houses in the area.

Police and MNDF have closed the roads in the area and watering the house.
