Massive damage in the fire at Vilimalé

A fire at a residential home in Vilimalé has caused massive damage to the property.

The incident took place at the three-story residential home, “Dhanmaanu” around 2:15 a.m. last light.

Although no one as injured, the house where a number of people live, sustained massive damage.

With the effort from the MNDF Fire and Rescue, the fire was controlled around 3:44 a.m.

Police are investigating into the cause of the fire.
