MNU to resume classes next week

Maldives National University (MNU) has decided to resume classes next week. The classes were brought to a halt following the H1N1 influenza outbreak last week.

An official from the MNU told Sun Media today that they would be resuming classes next Sunday.

A decision is set to be made today regarding the resuming of classes at the Islamic University of Maldives next week.

Health Protection Agency has advised against mass gatherings to in an effort to control the spread of the influenza. While there have been three fatalities so far, a number of people are hospitalized in treatment.
