Man injured in Link Road collision dies

The young man injured in the traffic collision on Addu Link Road yesterday has passed away. Police have also confirmed the death to Sun Media.

Sources say that the 29-year-old man injured in the collision passed away sometime around midnight last night while under going treatment at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

The man was initially treated at Hithadhoo Regional Hospital before being transferred to IGMH last night.

Addu City sources say that the man sustained the serious head injury after falling into a broken crease on the the Link Road near Maradhoo where his head started bleeding heavily immediately hitting the ground.
