Ex-CEO of MTCC, Haleem appointed CEO of MPL

Former CEO of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem has been appointed the new CEO of Maldives Ports Limited (MPL).

MPL's media official has confirmed the appointment to "Sun".

Haleem has been working as Managing Director of Maldives Road Development Corporation (MRDC) when he was appointed CEO of MPL.

The appointment comes in the heels of Mohamed Junaid's sudden resignation as CEO of MPL last Tuesday night.

Junaid said he decided to resign from MPL for "personal reasons".
