Police Integrity Commission has said that the tests conducted following accusations that the Policemen at last night’s MDP protest were intoxicated, came back negative.
A statement by the Police Integrity Commission states that breath analysis tests were performed on all the Policemen involved in the Specialist Operation near STO Trade Centre, and that the tests revealed that the Policemen had not been intoxicated.
President of Police Integrity Commission Shahinda Ismail said that the tests had to be conducted at the Police Office because the Commission does not have the equipment to perform the tests. She added that the tests were performed in the presence of officials of the Commission and Police.
