Trump’s sons interested in investing in Maldives

News of US President Donald Trump’s two eldest sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump visiting Maldives for vacation was reported by a number of news agencies.

It was reported that Trump Jr. and Eric Trump arrived in Maldives on February 14 and stayed at the luxurious PER AQUUM Niyama resort before leaving on February 17.

However, there have been many unconfirmed reports of the details surrounding the trip.

Both Trump Jr. and Eric Trump have been heading The Trump Organization since their billionaire father assumed office, and Maldives Insider – dedicated to Maldivian tourism industry news – reports that the purpose behind their trip to Maldives was to research investment opportunities available in the country’s tourism industry.

Trump Jr. – who achieved higher studies in economics – made a previous trip to Maldives – in 2012 – to research investment opportunities in Maldives.

Trump Jr. is the head of Trump Organization’s real estate projects and an advisor in all its other business ventures, and Eric Trump – Vice President of Trump Organization – heads its overseas real estate projects.
