Guesthouse in Rasdhoo becomes 4,000th POS merchant of BML

National bank, Bank of Maldives has celebrated its 4,000th Point of Sales (POS) terminal, installed in a guesthouse in A. A. Rasdhoo.

The POS terminal was installed at Royal Inn guesthouse in Rasdhoo with a small celebratory function last Monday, February 6, during which management of the guesthouse was presented with a momento.

Deputy CEO and Director of Operations of BML, Mohamed Shareef described it as an important milestone for the bank.

“This service is part of the extensive support provided to retail businesses across the country, and I am confident that its introduction in Rasdhoo will provide a welcome boost to both the merchant and the local economy,” said Shareef.

BML reports its POS terminals accept all major cards and allow retailers to collect payments both securely and conveniently.
