Mahudhee appointed Chairman of Transport, Nafiz to Labor Relations

Former Managing Director of Maldives Ports Limited, Mahudhee Imad has been appointed has been appointed Chairman of Transport Authority – the regulatory body for land and sea transport in the country.

Meanwhile, Abdul Rasheed Nafiz – who had been Chairman of TA – has been appointed Deputy Minister of Labor Relations Authority.

Major changes are being brought to the transport system in the country; including introduction of motorcycle taxi services, and work on introducing premium taxi services.

Changes have also been brought to vehicle fees.
