Ooredoo Maldives have been nominated for a Global Mobile (Glomo) award by GSMA.
The telecom company was nominated for the online teaching service, Ooredoo Smart Campus introduced in August 2016 in the category for the Best Mobile Innovation for Education and Learning.
The collective mobile solutions, GSM, is an association with over 800 telecommunication companies world-wide. The only nomination in the category from the Ooredoo Group is Ooredoo Maldives alone.
Head of Sales at Ooredoo Maldives, Hussain Niyaz told Sun Media today that the telecom company is proud to have been nominated for such an award and Ooredoo Maldives aims to provide a higher education opportunity nationwide and would always work to provide social and economic opportunities through the latest technology.
Through Ooredoo Smart Campus via Microsoft Cloud converts the paper platform to a cloud platform allowing teachers to teach online.
Polytechnic Maldives is currently conducting courses through Ooredoo Smart Campus.
