Regulation has been amended to allow staff of Maldives Correctional Service 50 days of leave of absence from work.
Regulation on Maldives Correctional Service employees was amended and published in the Government Gazette this Monday.
Article 90 (a) of the regulation states that prison officers and other employees should be allowed 50 vacation days – including public holidays. And 38 vacation days excluding public holidays.
An additional amendment was made to Article 116 (b) of the regulation making it compulsory that a white background be used in the background for identification cards.
The background for identification card photos previously needed to be set to blue, with the watermark of the Maldives Correctional Service badge visible.
