GTS Maldives ordered to pay over MVR 50,000 to MWSC

Civil Court has ordered GTS Maldives – a private business which supplies culinary equipment and machinery to tourism industry – to pay over MVR 50,000 owing to State-run Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC).

Civil Court issued the order last Wednesday, January 11, ruling that GTS Maldives had failed to pay for four hydronic membrane elements which it bought from MWSC back in 2013.

The value of the four hydronic membrane elements is MVR 57,203.

GTS Maldives has confessed to the unpaid debt. And Civil Court ordered that GTS Maldives pay the amount within four months.
