Two injured in yesterday’s violence in serious condition

ADK Hospital has said that the two young men injured in the attack in Malé City are in serious condition.

The incident took place yesterday around 4 p.m. on Janavaree Magu where a young man was injured.

Sources say that the man sustained attacks from a sharp object to his back leaving him in critical condition with damages to his lungs. He is being treated at ADK Hospital.

A member of his family told Sun Media that the man sustained four wounds, shoulder, ribs, head and arm. Deep wounds on his ribs has caused severe damage to his lungs.

Police are an investigation into the two attacks ongoing and have not released any details.
