Ooredoo introduces Total Unlimited package

Ooredoo Maldives has introduced a new postpaid package Premium 1999 which includes unlimited calls, SMS and data.

The telecom company introduced the Postpaid Premium 1499 and Postpaid Premium 1999 today at the Ooredoo Maldives head office. Speaking at the press conference, the Head of Sales at Ooredoo Maldives, Hussain Niyaz said that the packages introduced today have been a long term request from the customers.

The packages introduced today are ideal for businessmen, employees and customers that are constantly in communication according to Ooredoo.

Talking to the press, the Head of Voice Products at Ooredoo Maldives, Arushad Shaakir said that their target is to provide a service that gives the full benefits to the customers and empower and help achieve the hopes and targets of their customers.

Postpaid Premium 1499 package offers unlimited calls to Ooredoo network with 5,000 free text messages, 25 GB free data along with 2,500 minutes to other networks for a monthly fee of MVR 1499.

The Premium 1999 package is total unlimited package that gives unlimited calls to all networks, unlimited data and SMS for a monthly fee of MVR 1999.

Both packages also give an IDD discount to any five countries of the customer’s choosing.

Arushad said that the two packages are very important and relevant to the Maldivian society.

Along with the new postpaid packages, Ooredoo Maldives also introduced a special package for prepaid customers who are looking to upgrade to postpaid service.

The new Postpaid 299 offers 1,500 minutes of local talk time, 500 free text messages and 1 GB free data along with a 50 percent IDD call discount to any country of choosing.

Ooredoo said that customers can activate Data add-ons, LiveUnlimited add-ons, messaging add-ons and IDD add-ons to customize their postpaid package.
