Hassan appointed Vice President of NIC

Member of National Integrity Commission (NIC), Hassan Hameed has been appointed Vice President of the commission.

Hassan was appointed to the position after President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom appointed the former Vice President Maniu Mohamed to the position of President of NIC.

The former President of NIC, Mohamed Farhad has been removed from the position, but continues to be a member of NIC.

NIC is responsible for investigating criminal activity by law enforcement agencies and its staff. And complaints over any such unlawful activity taking place, or about to take place.
