Minor who climbed Funadhoo antenna brought down after five hours

Authorities have brought down a 13-year-old who climbed the Dhiraagu antenna in Shaviyani Funadhoo after five hours.

President of the Funadhoo Island Council, Ahmed Ibrahimfulhu said that the child climbed the antenna today around 5:30 p.m. but the reason for the climb is unclear.

The child who climbed atop the 280 ft antenna was brought down tonight around 10:30 p.m. by the Police with the help of the experts of Ooredoo who climb the antenna who were in the island.

Council President said that the boy did not sustain any injuries and is currently in the custody of the Police and the Gender Ministry.
