Quarterly report released by Prosecutor General’s Office shows total 2,383 criminal records inquiries were made during the third quarter of 2016 – from July to September.
1,947 of the inquiries were made by individuals via formal procedure, and 436 of the inquiries were made by government departments, companies, and private businesses.
Most frequent criminal record inquiries during the third quarter were made in July; 826 inquiries via individual request and 300 inquiries by government departments, companies and private businesses.
842 inquiries were made in August; 782 inquiries by individuals and 60 inquiries by government departments, companies and private businesses.
399 inquiries were made in September; 76 of which came from government departments, companies and private businesses.
Total 4,554 criminal record inquiries were made up until end of September, 2016.
