Actress Alia Bhatt and family in Maldives on holiday

Up-and-coming Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt and her family have arrived in Maldives on holiday.

Alia Bhatt, her mother - Soni Razdan, father – Mahesh Bhatt, and sister – Shaheen Bhatt arrived in Maldives this Sunday.

This has been confirmed by Mahesh Bhatt via Twitter updates.

Mahesh Bhatt posted a picture of the family as they got on their flight to Maldives, captioning

“Moments rather than possessions are the true treasures of life! Heading to the exotic Maldives for a family holiday.”

It was followed by one more picture of Alia and Shaheen in which he said the family would be enjoying the holiday in Maldives for “a day or two”.

The exact duration or resort I which they will be staying has not been disclosed.

Alia had announced in a television interview with her father that she planned to take her family on vacation to Maldives as a birthday gift for her mother.

Alia is taking a break after promotion work on her movie “Dear Zindhagi” – released in end of November - and shooting of her latest movie – “Badrinath Ki Dulhania”.
