Salim appointed Chairman of STO; Niyaz appointed Chairman of MTCC

Hussain Salim has been appointed Chairman of State Trading Organization, while Ahmed Niyaz has been appointed Chairman of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

Member of Maldives Development Alliance (MDA), Salim had previously been working as Chairman of MTCC; while Niyaz had previously been working as Chairman of STO.

Privatization and Corporatization Board has confirmed that the swap in positions took place last Tuesday.

The confirmation was made by Chairman of Privatization and Corporation Board, Mohamed Nizar in two separate tweets he made this Wednesday morning.
