Police investigate after teen raped in Addu City

Police have started investigating the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl in Addu City.

Police media official said on Saturday that sexual assault of a minor in Addu City reported to police on November 16. But that no arrests have been made yet.

Police also did not specify on which island in Addu City the incident took place in. And did not give out any further information as the case is still under investigation.

“Sun” has been informed that the 14-year-old girl was raped by a group of five men. And that the girl was taken to Hithadhoo Regional Hospital to receive treatment for injuries suffered during the assault.
