Eriyadu to be run by Thomas Cook as a smartline Hotel

Top UK travel agency, Thomas Cook has announced it will be running the Maldivian – Eriyadu Island Resort.

Thomas Cook Group announced in a press statement that it planned to expand its hotel brands; SENTIDO Hotels & Resorts, smartline Hotels, SunConnect Resorts, Sunprime Hotels, Sunwing Family Resorts, and the new Casa Cook Hotels over the next two years.

Thomas Cook announced Eriyadu Island Resort in K. Atoll of Maldives will be run as a smartline Hotel.

However, the press statement made no mention of a date for when Eriyadu will be opened for business as a smartline Hotel.

Eriyadu Island Resort was being run by Platinum Capital Holdings.

Thomas Cook also announced new smartline Hotels in Croatia, a total of 13 new hotels under its various brand names over the next two-year period.

The travel agency already runs 65 smartline hotels in Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Cape Verde, Gambia, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Tunis and Turkey.
