Two admin employees of PPM ordered to appear at the Police

Maldives Police Service has ordered the Assistant Registrar and the former Deputy Secretary General of the PPM during the former President of Maldives and President of PPM, Maumoon Abdul Gayoom’s Head Office for PPM, to appear at the Police Station.

Assistant Registrar of PPM, Fathimath Shaheeda was ordered to appear at the Police tonight at 8 p.m. and the current Secretary General of PPM’s Maumoon faction, Abdul Aleem Adam was

ordered to appear at 9 p.m. tonight.

Neither of them notified as to why they have been ordered to appear at the Police Station. The Police did not release any details saying that they are both being summoned in relation to an ongoing investigation.

Aleem and Shaheeda are being summoned at a time where the Yameen faction of PPM has filed a report saying that the hard disks and some important documents from the Head Office of PPM, H. Themaa were missing.

The party’s accounts, minutes of the functions and agreements made with individuals are lists among the missing items from the PPM Office.
