Sun Siyam Iru Fushi wins World's Best Luxury Beach Hotel Award

The Sun Siyam Iru Fushi has taken two awards from World Luxury Hotel Awards 2016; one being the globally best Luxury Beach Resort Award, and the other – regionally best Luxury Spa Hotel Award.

Iru Fushi won the two awards at the Tenth World Luxury Hotel Awards held last Sunday night at the 5-star hotel, St. Regis Doha, Qatar.

Both the awards were accepted on behalf of Iru Fushi by the Group Director of Business Development, Evgenia Boyankova.

The Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, which is creating benchmarks within the Maldivian tourism industry, has put more than nine international awards under its belt so far this year – making it one of the most successful resorts operating in Maldivian tourism industry.

Iru Fushi’s The Spa by Thalgo was selected Best Spa in Maldives and Best Spa in Indian Ocean Region by World Spa Awards, got a global and national award in the first World Luxury Restaurant and Spa Awards in July – Best French Cuisine Award to its French restaurant “Flavors” and Best Luxury Spa Resort in the Maldives.

Iru Fushi was also given Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor, and won two more awards in World Travel Awards 2016 – Leading Family Resort in Indian Ocean, and Leading Family Resort in Maldives.

World Luxury Hotel Awards was founded in 2007, and provides national, regional and global recognition to leading tourist resorts and hotels.

Maldivian resorts won 6 global awards, 2 two continental awards and 7 regional awards at World Luxury Hotel Awards 2016.
