Special rates for guests attending SATA in Mount Lavinia Hotel

South Asian Travel Awards (SATA), the most prestigious award celebrating the region’s booming tourism industry, is special in quite a number of ways.

The event organizers, the event partners, the renowned brand names nominated for the awards, the popular hotel where the gala event will be held – Mount Lavinia Hotel in Sri Lanka – are all things which makes SATA stand out.

Mount Lavinia Hotel, which has stood strong for over two centuries, was built in 1806 as a home for British colonial governor Lieutenant General Sir Thomas Maitland.

The historic hotel has announced special rates for guests from Maldives, India and Sri Lanka who wish to stay there to attend the SATA.

It has introduced a special promotional code - (SATA1) – which can be used for guests staying at the hotel between November 15 to 17.

Reservations need to be made through its website.

The hotels’ twin beds – direct ocean view rooms and king bed – direct ocean rooms will be available for USD 121.99 per night as part of the promotion. The rate includes breakfast and taxes.

SATA 2016, organized by Colombo Chamber of Commerce, is being managed by Maldivian event organizer – High Rise.

It will be held from November 15 to 16.
