Azleen: Will pave the way to win the Council Election in President Yameen’s reign

Home Minister Ahmed Azleen has said that the way would be paved for PPM to win the Local Council Election in the reign of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.

Speaking at a press conference today with a number of members of the PPM Parliamentary Group, Minister Azleen said that statement inviting the candidates supporting PPM to join and take part in the election gives a very short period which costs the opportunities for a lot of members.

He said that the decision was made at a PPM Council meeting with the former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom.

Azleen said that the party’s leadership would be improved with President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom at the helm and the way would be paved for PPM to with the Local Council Election.

Minister Azleen said that under President Yameen’s leadership, PPM’s inactivity would come to an end starting today and run with full force.
