Ooredoo Maldives decides to go public

Telecom company, Ooredoo Maldives has made the decision to go public and start selling shares.

Ooredoo has confirmed to “Sun” that the company will go public next Thursday, October 13.

Assistant Public Relations Manager of Ooredoo Maldives, Noora Zahir said that it was a great joy for the company to be able to sell its shares to the public.

“Ooredoo has come so far because of the support of the people of Maldives. It’s a great joy to be able to provide Maldivian people with the opportunity to participate in our progress and success,” said Noora.

She said that information like the share policy would be announced soon by the company.
