Sewage pipe damaged in Majeedhee Magu sealed

The sewage pipe that burst on Majeedhee Magu during the road repairs has been sealed.

A sewage pipe in the Majeedhee Magu, Maafannu burst this noon leaking sewage.

Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure said that Malé Water and Sewerage Company has now repaired their sewage pipe that was damaged and leaking.

The pipe burst in front of the Lé Cute shop near Maafannu Cemetery. Road repairs are underway on Majeedhee Magu from Star Cinema to Maafannu Cemetery.

A man working in the area said that the incident occurred while excavating to install some other pipes in the road.
