Lawyer Nazim suspended for allegedly creating mistrust with the Judicial System

Criminal Court has suspended lawyer Ahmed Nazim Abdul Sattar until 5 April 2017 from all cases at the court for allegedly creating mistrust among the people against the Judicial System.

The suspension letter sent to Nazim signed by the Chief Judge of the Criminal Court, Abdul Baree Yousuf said that that Nazim has tried to smear the judges and the court on numerous occasions.

And said that Nazim was advised to put an end to such actions on multiple occasions to no avail and repeated behavior.

The letter said that lawyer Nazim’s actions were outside the code of conduct of attorneys.
