MATATO announces Maldives Travel Awards – Guesthouse Edition

Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) has announced a Guesthouse Edition of Maldives Travel Awards.

The announcement was made by President of MATATO, Abdulla Giyaz during the Guesthouse Maldives Conference on Sunday.

Giyaz said that MTA - Guesthouse Edition – would be held separately to celebrate progress made by the booming guesthouse business in Maldives.

He announced that MTA – Guesthouse Edition would be held in 2017 - in association with Maldives Getaways – which also organized the Guesthouse Maldives Conference.

“It’s not enough that we provide marketing and training. We need to provide recognition and value them,” said Giyaz.

MATATO said that it would be announcing the categories for the MTA – Guesthouse Edition very soon.
