BML to discontinue ATMs in Finance Building

The self-service banking center of Bank of Maldives, situated in the Finance Building is to be closed starting Thursday, September 22 in order to construct the new Ministry of Finance and Treasury headquarters.

The bank tweeted from its official Twitter account this Tuesday announcing that the self-service banking center situated at the Finance Building would be closed starting 10 pm on Thursday.

The center contains four ATM machines and was opened in June, 2015.

BML has assured its customers that its services will be available via other self-service centers located in Male'.

They are:

1. BML Head Office, Ground Floor

2. BML Majeedhee Magu Branch

3. BML Bazar Branch, STO Trade Centre

4. BML Branch, Sea Tracs Building, Ground Floor

5. Velaanaa Building

6. Boduthakurufaanu Magu (Near the Artificial Beach)

7. IGMH, Kan'baa Aisa Rani Higun

Offices situated in the Finance Building have been temporary moved so that the new 25-story building can be built.

The USD 122 million (MVR 1.8 billion) project is assigned to two Malaysian companies - WZR Group of Companies and Funnel Investment Private Limited.
