Man arrested from L. Gan in local alcohol production stint

Police have arrested a man from L. Gan suspected of being involved in production of local alcohol, along with equipment needed to produce alcohol and a bottle of what is suspected to be local liquor.

Police reported in a statement this Tuesday that they arrested the 28-year-old man from L. Gan last Sunday.

The statement said that the man had struck the attention of patrolling policeman who tracked his movements and arrested him red-handed in the middle of production from within the forage towards Powerhouse of Thundi district of L. Gan.

Police said that equipment used to produce alcohol and a 1.5-liter bottle containing what is suspected to be local liquor was confiscated from the scene of the arrest.

The man has a criminal record stretching from obstruction of justice, molesting a minor, street fights, damage to property, drug abuse and robbery.
