Largest medical expo in Maldives set for November

The largest medical expo organized by the health sector in an effort promote medical tourism for the Maldives, has been set for this November.

The Fair is being organized by MV Medicals, a company that promotes foreign hospitals and health centers, in cooperation with India’s MedLife Asia.

The Manager of Marketing and Public Relations of MV Medicals, Abdul Jaleel Hussain said that the purpose of the expo is to develop the health sector, showcase international technologies and services and how to acquire them.

While 21 stalls are set to be installed at the expo to be held from 24-26 November at the National Art Gallery, MV Medicals have opened the opportunity to apply for the stalls.

And so the application to take part in the fair is open to hospitals, clinics, medical labs along with pharmacies, pharmaceuticals, beauty care, health insurance, fitness centers and all other medical related services and businesses.

Jaleel said that the hospitals and clinics in the country have been invited to join the fair and medical service providers from Sri Lanka and India would also be taking part in the fair.

He said that they are also working to bring medical service providers from Malaysia and Dubai.
