Housing Development Corporation (HDC) said that the announcement of sale of 76 plots of land from Hulhumale’ Development Project II has met with huge demand.
The 76 plots of land, ranging between 1,000 to 1,800 square feet will be opened for bidding on September 18.
Managing Director of HDC, Mohamed Simon spoke to “Sun” on Saturday and said that the plots of land were getting huge demand.
“There are fairly numerous requests for clarification of information. Numerous people are calling with the construction of the bridge and the Hulhumale’ development plan,” said Simon.
Bidding will start at MVR 3,000 per square foot.
Bid winners have two payment options – making the full payment within two weeks, or making the payment through a third party within a three-month period.
An acquisition fee of five percent of the total value of the plot of land will also be taken.
