Ministry readies for biggest youth challenge fair

Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced that it is getting ready for the biggest youth challenge fair to be held in the country – The Opportunity Pool 2016.

Speaking during a press conference on Sunday, Director-General of Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ali Zaki said that though “youth challenge” was already an annual event held by the

Ministry, this year’s fair would be bigger and better this time around.

“This fair will include employment opportunities, work skills needed for the youth, and the work of young businessmen and women. The interest of the participants is also greater compared to previous years,” said Zaki.

The Opportunity Pool 2016 will include 63 stalls, with more than 500 employment opportunities for youth.

It will be held from August 3 – 5 at Dharubaaruge.

The youth challenge fair is an event held by Ministry of Youth and Sports each year, since its conception at 1999.
