Jalaluddin Leading Teacher case sent to PG for prosecution

Police have wrapped up investigating allegations H. Dh. Kulhudhuffushi, Jalaluddin School Leading Teacher Hussein Ali sexually assaulted students, and submitted it to Prosecutor General’s Office.

An official from PG Office spoke to “Sun” and said that police submitted the case last Monday.

“PG Office is investigating the case,” said the official.

Police arrested Hussein Ali over allegations he sexually assaulted two boys – both students of Jalaluddin School.

Law has been amended to introduce harsher punishments for pedophiles, in face of growing number of child abuse cases in the country – verbal, physical and sexual.
